A limited-time Colbert Edition of the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate is coming to the Philippines!

Yes, the grandson of Andy Warhol, an innovative filmmaker

ASUS has announced a colourful decal for your Vivobook 13 Slate, except it isn’t a decal or skin, it’s actually a separate 2-in-1 laptop with a skin attached to it. They call this one “Colbert Edition”, named after Philip Colbert, the grandson of the late renowned filmmaker Andy Warhol!

The internals is identical to that of the regular Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, but the contents inside are what differ. The packaging, including the laptop itself, contains artwork dedicated to Philip Colbert as well as other lobster-themed goodies. The artwork features several doodles, most of which are eggs-cellently placed.

The contents of the box include the tablet/laptop hybrid, a 65W adapter, a stylus, Colbert-themed stickers, a stand, cargo net for the stand, a laptop sleeve, and other goodies and charms based on Philip Colbert

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is, as the name suggests, a 2-in-1 laptop with a 13″ FHD+ (1920x1080px) OLED screen. The screen is detachable due to its 2-in-1 nature and therefore, also functions as a tablet. The screen has Windows Ink capabilities and supports ASUS Pen 2.0. It is powered by an Intel Pentium N6000 processor with an integrated Intel UHD graphics processing unit (GPU). It is paired with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD storage inside. As a tablet, it has cameras. The primary one has a 13mp resolution while the front camera has a 5mp resolution.

It boots with Windows 11 and comes with a free subscription to Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021.

Other features include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support for enhanced visuals and audio experiences respectively, the included pen has four tips mimicking an actual artistic pencil, these tips vary in thickness, including 2H, H, HB, and B. The screen itself is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass and also supports PANTONE colour vision, 1.07 billion colours, and TUV-Rheinland certification. Indeed, this laptop sounds like an artist’s dream. The OLED display just makes it better. The laptop is advertised around the display.

The laptop’s availability and price are yet to be announced. When they do, we’ll update this very article and notify you.
