The only significant change here is the marketing and the name. Nothing to see here folks!
Last month, Infinix released the successor to the Infinix Note 11, the Infinix Note 12. But we can’t really say it’s a significant successor because the two are highly identical
Like the Note 11, the Note 12 has a 6.7in FHD+ (2400x1080px) AMOLED screen. It also uses the MediatekHelio G88 chipset coupled with 4 or 6GB RAM and either 64 or 128GB internal storage, plus 3GB virtual extended RAM on all RAM options.
The cameras are unchanged from the Note 11. It retains the same 50mp camera with a 2mp auxiliary and VGA camera. The front camera is still 16mp sitting on a dewdrop notch. The battery size and charging are also untouched, using the same 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. It still has a headphone jack and stereo speakers with DTS sound. It also has access to FM Radio. In terms of connectivity, there’s dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE.
This phone is a case of Infinix just reselling an older model and calling it new. Xiaomi does this type of marketing all the time and it can work since the name has changed, people will think it’s new even though it’s exactly the same as its previous “ancestor”. Nothing is changed between this and the Infinix Note 11, and we can see why it’s not heavily talked about.
