Who thought of the idea of bringing an old processor to a midrange phone?
Tecno’s Pova series is all about the screen and big battery (though the Pova 2 has a larger battery). The Pova Neo continues that tradition. The Pova Neo is a downgraded version of the Pova 2 with cheaper prices and even more compromised specs
Inside it is a 6.8in. HD+ IPS LCD screen with an outdated waterdrop notch. Powering the phone is the aging Mediatek Helio P22 chip with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 6000mAh battery is the main highlight. It lasts up to 17 days on regular use theoretically and, if in a hurry, charge with a blink of an eye with the complementary 18W fast charging.
There are two cameras at the back. The third hole is for deception purposes. The main camera is a 13mp shooter and is complemented by the company’s so-called “AI Camera”. In front is an 8mp sensor with a LED flash. The design is one of the things that make this stand out from other budget phones, as it has a “racing” feel to it. Though if you like racing with a Honda Civic competing against a McLaren Senna, then this is for you.
At the back is the rear fingerprint sensor. It has a USB-C Port, Dual SIM Slot, 4G LTE services, and is expandable via MicroSD card.
