What used to be the productivity line from Infinix now focuses more on general use, as it no longer came with a stylus.
Last month, Infinix has revealed their newest Hot 11s with a newly updated design. Of course, with every Hot series that was announced, you have to pretty much expect that a new Note series phone would also come sooner or later.
Yesterday, 8th November, the company has revealed the newest phone in the Note lineup called the Note 11s and has a design strikingly similar to its cousin, the Hot 11s. While the two have an almost similar design, they do have different internals.
Starting with the display; unlike the Hot 11s which came with 90Hz, the Note 11s comes with a faster 120Hz refresh rate. It has kept the same FHD+ IPS LCD as the Hot 11s though. This one is TUV-Rheinland certified. Well… every phone is TUV-Rheinland certified, and companies are just using this emblem to promote their products and some even make it their main selling point, like some yellow company we know wink wink.
In terms of cameras, it has a similar setup as the Hot 11s, coming with a triple camera setup: a 50mp main, two 2mp depth, and most likely, an AI sensor. Don’t let the design fool you, it’s not a quad-camera setup, but Infinix is making it appear that way for marketing reasons as well as to make customers think they have more cameras than usual. This is a dirty and intentional design trick that most OEMs do to make it appear that way. A 16mp punch hole camera is used for selfies.
In terms of performance, the phone uses a Mediatek Helio G96 processor, which is a slightly upgraded version of the Helio G95. It still uses the same cores and even uses the same architecture but saves slightly more power than the G95 and natively supports 120Hz refresh rates. This is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
It runs XOS 10 based on Android 11. It uses a typically large 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging for endurance. For biometrics, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also supports facial recognition. It has support for dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE services, DTS Audio, and a 3.5mm jack.
It was first sold in Thailand at a price of THB6999 (~Php 10.7K). The release for the Philippine market is yet to be announced. Currently, only one configuration was announced. Knowing Infinix, they might alter the specs a bit when the phone ever reaches the Philippines. It comes in three colours: Haze Green, Mithril Gray, and Symphony Cyan.
