A new midrange tablet from Samsung has gone official! The tablet is made available first in Germany and comes packing with full-to-the-brim features, including 5G.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for the base version, the tablet has a 12.4in. nearly bezeless screen with a resolution of 2560x1600px. and even includes an S-Pen for artists and to take notes. The specs are similar to that of another Samsung tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, except this one has no high-refresh rate. Also, the tablet uses a TFT display instead of OLED like the one on the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus.
The tablet has support for an optional keyboard that is sold separately as well as Samsung DeX. For the battery, it is powered by a whopping 10,090mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and with that large battery, you’re seriously going to need that extra power for charging. According to Samsung, the tablet can charge from nothing to full in 3 hours and 10 minutes.
Speaking of the S Pen, the tablet also includes Clip Studio Paint that is free to use within the first 6 months.
The tablet is not available yet, but is ready for pre-orders in Germany and starts at EUR649 (~38.3K php) and comes in two colours: Black and Silver. If you like to have other choices, the Samsung Store in Germany also has a non 5G base variant and a ‘Plus’ variant with SAMOLED and 120Hz refresh rate.
