Vivo V21 series tipped to launch today!

The Vivo V21 and V21e was announced on Vivo Indonesia’s Twitter, suggesting that the two phones will launch there first. There is also a speculated launch in India as well.

In Malaysia, the company confirmed the following variants: Vivo V21 4G, V21 5G, and V21e.

On Vivo’s website, the designs and features of the V21 has been revealed. The V21 5G has a teardrop notch sporting a 44mp selfie camera with OIS and dual LED flash, this means your vlogging videos will remain steady even when walking as well as making it brighter for your selfies. The display is AMOLED (possibly SAMOLED). The main camera will feature a 64mp main lens and two other auxiliaries. The phone also has a trendy matte glass finish at the back.

There is also a 8GB RAM, although it may feature a tech seen on Vivo’s other phone, the iQoo 7. According to Vivo’s website, the phone has 8GB RAM, although it will also have an additional “extended RAM” that is 3GB. This type of tech is what Vivo calls “memory fusion” in which your 8GB RAM phone will perform like it has 11GB, and thus mitigating and lowering chances of lag. It’s like that “download more RAM” joke from a few years back but is now a reality.

Vivo V21 SE Google Play Console

The V21 SE was also recently listed on Google Play Console (though to access it, you need pay for an account), revealing some specs. The phone was listed to have the Qualcomm SM7125 chipset, which is the model name for the Snapdragon 720G. It also comes with the latest Android 11 pre-installed. The screen resolution was also revealed to be FHD+, with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Like the rest of the V21 series, this phone also comes with 8GB RAM. Though we are still unsure which display it comes with. The IMEI for the V21 SE matches to the ones India use, indicating that the phone will be released in India.

We hope to see more features once they are released.
